Job Overview:
Mononia Aviation is seeking a talented and proactive IT Executive to oversee the company’s information technology strategy, systems, and infrastructure. The IT Executive will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the company’s IT operations, ensuring that technology aligns with business needs, and supporting seamless operations across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the company’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and communication systems.
- Ensure the security and integrity of company data through effective cybersecurity measures and protocols.
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely support to all departments.
- Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, software installations, and new technology implementations.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of reliable and cost-effective IT solutions.
- Monitor IT system performance and provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and internal IT policies.
- Conduct regular training for staff on IT best practices, cybersecurity awareness, and new system functionalities.
- Stay updated on the latest technological trends and advancements, identifying opportunities to improve business efficiency through technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a related role, preferably in the aviation, transportation, or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and cybersecurity.
- Proven experience with managing enterprise software, databases, and network systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and virtualization technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- Experience with compliance regulations and data protection standards, such as GDPR.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with different departments and external partners.
